M Radhakrishnan likely to be next Kerala BJP chief

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  RSS saha prantha karyavahak and managing director of Janmabhoomi M Radhakrishnan is likely to be the next state president of the BJP. Radhakrishnan is in Delhi for confabulations with the BJP national leadership and is likely to proceed to Nagpur for the final clearance. 

Sources indicated the RSS is intervening in the murky BJP politics of Kerala to curtail the group activities plaguing the party for the past several years. The organising secretary of the BJP M Ganeshan is also likely to be replaced. 

However, the replacement is not clear and the national secretary general of Vigyan Bharathi A Jayakumar is tipped to be the likely replacement. After the exit of P P Mukundan from the party as organising secretary, the BJP has been struggling to find a replacement with both his successors K R Umakantan and M Ganeshan turning out to be ineffective.
