The New Indian Express wins media award at International Children's Film Festival of Kerala

The New Indian Express won the award for best coverage in the print category, along with Malayalam daily Malayala Manorama.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The New Indian Express has won the media award for ‘Best Reporting’ at the first edition of the International Children’s Film Festival of Kerala (ICFFK) 2018. The awards were given away by Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan at the valedictory of the film fest. The award carries a memento and a cash prize of Rs 10,000.  

The Malayalam daily Malayala Manorama received the award for ‘Best Reporting’ in the Malayalam category. Special award in the print media category was received by Malayalam dailies Mathrubhumi and Kerala Kaumudi. Metro Vaartha received ‘Special Mention’ in the award category. 

Jeevan TV won the ‘Best Channel Reporting’ award in the visual media category. All India Radio won the award for ‘Best Broadcasting’ while Club FM won the ‘Special Award for Broadcasting’ in radio media award category. Malayali Vaartha was given the ‘Best Reporting’ award in the online media category.  The week-long film fete concluded here on Sunday.
