BHUBANESWAR: The tiny tots of Ruchika Preschool put up a spectacular performance during the two-day annual function on Saturday and Sunday. The little ones performed to a variety of songs with elan. While the students of LKG performed to “Chak De India” and “Bum Bum Bole,” the Prep students did “dandiya,” “bhangra” and a patriotic number. The principal, Vimaljit Dua, paid tributes to its founder Inderjit Khurana for her vision of preschool education based on principles of love and freedom. It was the first playschool in Odisha. The programme on Sunday began with Mangalacharan by six-year-old Subhashree Padhi. Girls dressed in Ghagara Choli and boys in “angrakha” performed “dandiya,” while the “bhangra” performance had everyone swaying to the beats. The group performance of all the classes had the audience on their feet.
