OJM to forge ties with BJP, smaller parties: Pyari

Express News Service

If Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) comes to power, it would work towards realising a fearless, liquor-free, corruption-free and self-reliant Odisha, said OJM president Pyarimohan Mohapatra.

Addressing a public meeting here on Tuesday, Mohapatra criticised the State Government over distribution of umbrella, cycle and mobiles.

Each village would have a gram panchayat and small scale industries in addition to the cottage industries to give employment to at least 25-30 lakh youths, he added.

OJM would take a lead in forming an alliance of BJP and other smaller parties in the State to form next Government, said Pyari.

He added that if the desired political alliance is formed, OJM would win 50 seats out of the collective win of 85 in next Assembly election. Moreover, he claimed that in undivided Koraput district, OJM would win at least nine seats.

Among others general secretary of the party Jagyenswar Babu addressed the gathering.

While it was the first meeting in the district after the Morcha was declared as a political party, a massive rally by tribal men and women from different parts of the district was taken out in the town to greet Mohapatra and his team before the meeting.
