Clean drive on Puri beach ahead of Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 

The campaign aims at spreading the message of cleanliness ahead of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar-2018 which is scheduled to be held at Kalinga Stadium from November 28 to December 16.

BHUBANESWAR: With an intention to create awareness about the Hockey Men’s World Cup and preserve the beauty of Puri beach, thousands of Biju Yuva Vahini volunteers along with officials of Sports and Youth Services and Tourism departments jointly organised a special clean drive on Wednesday. 
The campaign aims at spreading the message of cleanliness ahead of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar-2018 which is scheduled to be held at Kalinga Stadium from November 28 to December 16. 

Sports and Youth Services Secretary Vishal Dev said, “With Hockey World Cup just a few months away, we would like to offer the best of the State to all the incoming teams and tourists from around the world.”
Executive Chairperson of State Youth Welfare Board Arup Pattnaik said, “It gives me immense pleasure to see the youths of the State working towards such a cause.”  CEO of Chanchal Rana Biju Yuva Vahini also appreciated the efforts of the volunteers.
