Dharmendra Pradhan launches Zoho Skill Hub, ‘Gyana Vahan’ at VSSUT

SAMBALPUR: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the ‘Zoho Skill Hub’ and flagged off ‘Gyana Vahan’ (Wisdom on Wheels) at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla here on Wednesday.

Set up in collaboration with Zoho Corporation, the Zoho Skill Hub aims to equip students and local youths with advanced technological and software skills. The centre will offer hands-on training through modern classrooms and industry-linked exposure, enabling learners to gain real-world experience and improve employability. Officials said successful candidates may also get opportunities through Zoho’s partner network in India and abroad.

Similarly, the ‘Gyana Vahan’, an initiative supported by Paytm Foundation, will function as a mobile digital learning unit, promoting digital and financial literacy in rural areas through access to modern tools and resources.

The initiatives were launched during a special platinum jubilee programme held at the university in presence of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabinarayan Naik and Sambalpur MLA Jayanarayan Mishra.
