SMS Your Number, Get Plus Two Results on Mobiles Today

Directorate of Government Examinations to declare results of State Board HSC examination of 8.26 lakh students from 60,004 schools in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry

The results of TN State Board HSC examination, which was held across the State from March 3 to 25, will be out by 10 am on Friday. The results will be available online, through SMS and through smart phones.

As many as 8.26 lakh students from 60,004 schools in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will get their results, to be declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations on the following websites: www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in,  www.dge2.tn.nic.in, and www.dge3.tn.nic.in.

Students will have to key in their date of birth and examination registration number to access their marks.

For results through SMS, students are to send a message to the mobile no 09282232585  in the format, ARD ,.

Students who have registered themselves in the BSNL service will receive their marks by 10 am on their mobile phones as SMS.

Apart from the respective schools where the students studied, they can also access their results from the National Informatics Centre at the Collectorate and the Central and branch libraries free of cost.

Students can apply for a copy of the answer scr-ipt and re-totalling from Friday to May 14, except Sunday, at  their respective sch-ools or exam centres (for private candidates). 

They should not apply for re-totalling in the subject for which they had applied for an answer script.

The School Education Department has said that the private candidates will get their mark sheets at the exmaination centres on Friday. As such their results will not be published online.

There are over 55,000 private candidates awaiting their results.

A supplementary examination will be held in June end.
