Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu visits Kauvery hospital to inquire about Karunanidhi's health

Last night, the hospital had said that Karunanidhi's health condition continues to remain stable with ongoing active medical support.

CHENNAI: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu met ailing DMK President M Karunanidhi at Kauvery hospital in Chennai on Sunday.

The 94-year-old DMK Supremo has been undergoing treatment since Saturday after his blood pressure dropped. Doctors at Kauvery Hospital stated that former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's health condition is stable and constantly monitored by the panel doctors.

The Vice President was accompanied by Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan.

"Visited Kaveri Hospital and met former Chief Minister Thiru Kalaignar Karunanidhi. Met his family members and doctors and enquired about his health. Doctors said he is stable. Wish him a speedy recovery. @kalaignar89 " said official twitter handle of Vice President of India.
