CM MK Stalin unveils buildings of rural development dept worth Rs 30.72 crore in TN

The buildings were constructed at Kudavasal union in Thiruvarur district, Ottanchathiram in Dindigul district, Eriyur and Kadthuthur unions in Dharmapuri district, Kothagiri union in Nilgris.

CHENNAI:  Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday inaugurated various buildings constructed on behalf of the rural development department through video conference from the secretariat.

The buildings were constructed at Kudavasal union in Thiruvarur district, Ottanchathiram in Dindigul district, Eriyur and Kadthuthur unions in Dharmapuri district, Kothagiri union in Nilgris, Vennanthur union Namakkal district, Muchirai union in Kanniyakumari district at a cost of 30.72 crore. 

Each of the newly constructed buildings was built on an area of 17,324 square feet. Besides, Stalin also flagged off 12 vehicles, which are part of the 200 vehicles worth Rs 25.4 crore, to be distributed to various panchayat union chairmen in the state.  On the occasion, a minister I Periyasamy, chief secretary V Irai Anbu and other officials were present.
