MTC introduces services from Kovalam to Saidapet, T Nagar in Chennai

Additionally, a limited service will depart from Adyar bus stand to Kovalam at 1.45 pm.

CHENNAI: In a bid to improve connectivity to south eastern parts of the city, Metropolitan Transport Corporation launched new bus routes from Kovalam to T Nagar and Saidapet on Thursday.

According to sources, buses originating from Kovalam will pass through Muttukadu, Thiruvanmiyur and Saidapet before reaching T Nagar. Departure time from Kovalam has been scheduled at 5.15 am, 8.50 am, 12.30 pm, 5 pm, and 7.05 pm, and from T Nagar at 7 am, 10.40 am and 5 pm.

Additionally, a limited service will depart from Adyar bus stand to Kovalam at 1.45 pm.

Buses to T Nagar will depart from Kovalam at 4.10 am, 7.12 am, 10.30 am, 5.05pm, and 8.35 pm, and from Saidapet at 5.40 am and 3.30 pm. Cut services from Saidapet west will depart at 8.55 am and 6.50 pm, while those from T Nagar will depart at 10.15 pm.

Buses bound for T Nagar from Kovalam will run via Muttukadu, Palavakkam, Thiruvanmiyur, Madhya Kailash, and Little Mount.
