HYDERABAD:Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC) will conduct public hearings from March 12 to 14 on the proposed retail supply aggregate revenue requirement (ARR) for the year 2015-16.
The Discoms have recently filed the ARRs before the TSERC proposing an average tariff hike of 4.9 per cent for domestic and other consumers. The public hearings will be conducted on March 12 at Zilla Praja Parishad meeting hall, Subedari in Hanamkonda.
ERC will conduct public hearings at RTC Kala Bhavan, Baghlingampally on March 13 and 14 for all consumers/stakeholders except industrial, commercial and railways. The public hearings will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and again from 2.30 pm to 5 pm, according to a release by the ERC on Monday.
Interested persons and general public may attend the public hearings and witness the proceedings, the release said.
