HYDERABAD: A 17 year-old home science student, who was counselled by parents over her love affair, committed suicide by jumping from fourth floor of a hostel under Musheerabad police limits on Wednesday.
The deceased is identified was a student of government domestic science training college at East Marredpally. She lived at a government hostel in Musheerabad.
SI K Rama Rao said last year Sana got admission in polytechnic course and was residing in the hostel. Her parents later found that she was in relationship with a person. “Recently, the college management asked her parents to counsel her, who did the same,’’ the SI said.
On Wednesday, Sana went to the four storeyed hostel building and jumped off.
