JAGTIAL: Advising BRS leaders and activists to counter the BJP’s “Jai Sri Ram” and “Jai Bajrang Bali” slogans effectively, MLC K Kavitha on Wednesday urged people to chant the Hanuman Chalisa to promote well-being and prosperity. She had, during her previous visit to Kondagattu, asked BRS activists to BJP’s “Jai Sri Ram” with “Jai Hanuman” calls.

Kavitha visited the Sri Anjayaneya Swamy hillock temple at Kondagattu, where she participated in a Hanuman Chalisa chanting programme that has been taking place for the past 41 days, with 108 chants performed daily. During her visit, Kavitha herself recited the Hanuman Chalisa 11 times.

She was accorded a warm welcome at the temple by Vedic scholars who honoured her for her presence. Emphasising the significance of Hanuman worship, Kavitha stated that performing poojas and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa can bring prosperity to all individuals. She pointed out that the presence of Hanuman temples in every village in Telangana is a testament to the widespread belief in Lord Hanuman’s ability to bestow joy and victory.

Kavitha also highlighted the ongoing development of the Kondagattu temple. She recalled Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s promise to allocate Rs 500 crore for the temple’s development. Additionally, she mentioned that approximately 340 acres of land surrounding the hillock has already been transferred to the temple. Expressing her prayers for everyone’s well-being, Kavitha sought Lord Hanuman’s blessings to be bestowed upon all.

Interestingly, Kavitha’s visit to the Kondagattu temple holds significance amidst the recent efforts by BJP State president Bandi Sanjay to promote Hanuman Chalisa programmes in every village.
