HYDERABAD: Reiterating his resolve to place Telangana as number one state globally across all sectors, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday urged the people to work unitedly to make his dream a reality.

In a message to the people as part of gram sabhas and ward sabhas held across the state under “Praja Palana, Pragathi Pranalika” action plan, the chief minister said: “Telangana’s 40 million people must unite to emerge as a shining example for both the nation and the world. This is my dream. Everyone must play an important role in making this dream a reality.”

Revanth Reddy said that his government has been working tirelessly to ensure overall development of the state as well as welfare of all sections of people by overcoming financial challenges and rectifying the errors of the previous government.

“Guided by the ethos that ‘we are not rulers, but servants’, we have been striving with the main objective of fulfilling the aspirations of people. We accord utmost priority to the welfare of people, social responsibility and the future of the state. The consecutive victories in byelections, panchayat and municipal polls are a testament to the people’s approval and unrelenting support to the people’s government’s performance. People’s mandate deepened our sense of responsibility,” he said.

The chief minister made it clear that his government’s firm resolve is to ensure that “the welfare schemes don’t remain mere entries on paper but must bring about a tangible and distinct transformation in the lives of the people”.

“Praja Palana, Pragathi Pranalika launched with the coordination of all government departments should become a spirited movement, extending from the village to the state level. Every government official must work with the singular objective of resolving issues being faced in every village and ensure expeditious clearance of files, cleanliness in all government offices and transparency in all decision-making processes,” he said, while stressing that benefits of all schemes should reach all eligible beneficiaries.

“Inspired by the vision of Telangana Rising 2047, our resolve is to place the youngest state of Telangana as the number one state globally, not just in economic terms but across all sectors. Every citizen must become a partner in fulfilling the government’s resolve. We categorised the state into the segments of CURE, PURE and RARE. Within this framework, we must emerge as a global benchmark in the service, manufacturing and agricultural sectors,” he added.
