We had already reported that the Dhanush-starrer Velai Illa Pattadhari (VIP) (2014) will have a Kannada remake, and now the latest we hear is that Rachita Ram (who’s busy with Bharjari), will reprise Amala Paul’s role in the original.
Previously, there was a buzz that Amala herself will be a part of this film as well, however it’s not the case. While Manoranjan Ravichandaran is the male lead, Nanda Kishore will wield the megaphone for this action-packed entertainer.
“Everything has been finalised. The makers discussed the script with Rachita, and she’s on board already. The project will commence from the first week of November,” said sources.
However, the makers are yet to make the confirmation official. Rockline Venkatesh is bankrolling the film.
