Chella, who has assisted directors Ezhil and A Venkatesh, has turned filmmaker with Vishnu Vishal’s yet-to-be-titled film, where he plays the a police constable.

He tells CE, “It is a comedy-entertainer and we’re planning to begin shooting from March 20. We have finalised Pollachi, Theni, Tirunelveli and Ambasamudram for the shoot.”

This is the first time Vishnu and Regina are pairing up on screen. The supporting cast includes Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Anand Raj, Mansoor Ali Khan, Livingston and Singamuthu. Sai Ravi plays the baddie and Vishnu’s home banner VV Studioz is bankrolling this project. Vishnu took to Twitter and wrote, “Happy welcoming Regina on board for production number-3.” Regina tweeted, “Happy to be a part of this project. Going to be fun.”
