Vikram starts shooting for Vijay Chander’s film

After wrapping up the Chennai schedule of Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram, Vikram has started shooting for Vijay Chander’s yet-to-be-titled film. It looks like the actor will simultaneously shoot for both films. Posting this picture on Instagram, Vikram wrote, “First-day shoot of second film. #VJChander #DOPSukumar #Chiyaan54.” Said to be a gangster story, this film will have Tamannaah paired opposite him.

Produced by Silverline Film Factory that had funded Vikram’s shelved flick Karikaalan, this film will be shot in the backdrop of North Chennai. The latest information is that the makers have built huge sets at Binny Mills to shoot important sequences.

Vijay Chander had confi rmed to us a while ago that Vikram had given him bulk dates, so that the project could be fi nished in one schedule. While Bhohpuri actor Ravi Kishan plays the baddie, Soori will provide comedy relief. RK Suresh, Radha Ravi will also be seen in important roles.
