In a really exciting development for fans, it’s being reliably learnt that Ilayathalapathy Vijay would be playing triple roles in Vijay 61, being directed by Atlee.
It is speculated that the star is playing the father as well as his two sons, with one of the roles being that of a cop. The first schedule of the film was successfully completed ahead of plan while the 2nd schedule would commence on Wednesday, March 1.
The 1980s portions (with the father Vijay) would continue being shot. A source from the unit adds,
“This new schedule would go on till March-end in sets erected across popular Chennai spots like Adityaram Studios and Binny Mills. Vijay sir would join the action after March 4, while Nithya Menen would continue shooting in this schedule too.”
It is also being said that SJ Suryah would join the sets for this new schedule. The Vijay 61 team is expected to travel abroad following the completion of this long stretch in Chennai. A.R.Rahman is in charge of the music and we hear that the legend has already started working on the tunes.
