After the success of his maiden production venture, Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings, Venkat Prabhu is all set to produce the next film under his banner, Black Ticket Company.

However, he will not be handling the direction this time, and will instead hand over the reins to director Saravana Rajan of Vadacurry fame. Vaibhav, a regular collaborator of Venkat Prabhu, will play the lead, while actor-composer Premgi will compose the tunes for this untitled project.

Confirming the news, Premgi says, “It’s a film with our usual gang. Praveen KL will handle the editing. Cinematographer Venkatesh S, who worked on Vadacurry, is a part of this film too. We began composing just a while back. It will be a romantic comedy and shooting will start by the end of May.”

Premgi, who composed the original background score for Venkat Prabhu’s directorial debut Chennai 600028 back in 2007, has previously composed music for films like Ennamo Nadakkuthu and Achamindri.
