Meticulously weaving in powerful dialogues, lyrical poetry, soulful songs and thoughtful choreography, a musical play titled Parchhayiyaan comes as a tribute to the legendary song writer and poet, Sahir Ludhianvi. The narrative portrays  the story of two characters, Sahir and She, wherein She represents his lifelong bachelorhood and the roller-coaster of his love affairs; essentially the emotional side of the poet and the strength he gains from the vicissitudes of life.

Tom Alter lends his nuanced sensibilities to the script with his intense acting. The narrative of the script takes you expertly to the changing and challenging times of the mid-20th century, the impact of Second World War, struggle for independence followed by the havoc of Indo-Pak Partition and its socio-politico effects.
