NEW DELHI: As the AAP government completes one year in power, the tall promises made by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after assuming office appear to have fallen flat. Rather than focusing on governance, the Kejriwal government was seen locking horns with the Centre over the full statehood issue and taking on the Lieutenant Governor on many administrative decisions.

The party which came to power promising a corruption-free government, landed themselves in many graft charges against a few MLAs and ministers. One-third of the 67 AAP legislators—including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goyal—have criminal cases pending against them.

In last one year, there has been not a single infrastructural development in Delhi. Many development proposals , have remained only proposal.
