A 9-year-old girl Hailey Fort from Washington, United States took the responsibility of giving homeless people mobile shelters and grows food for them in her garden.

Her initiative began from the tender age of 5, when her heart broke at the sight of a homeless man and went forward to help him.

Hailey's aim is to grow 250 pounds of food and build 12 mobile shelters for the needy. She wants to donate 1000 toiletries.

Hailey's facebook page has set up a GoFundMe account to gain funds for her cause. So far several organisations have supported her cause where she even gets discount for her materials from a Hardware store.

The remarkable girl is truly mature enough to understand the magnitude of the issue, where she says “I learned that being homeless can be dangerous because you don’t know if people are going to hurt you. There shouldn’t be that many homeless people. This summer I hope to make a small mobile sleeping shelter that would keep the owner safe and dry.”

Hailey promised that her first mobile shelter would go to her friend Edward, who has been facing tough times after losing his job at a supermarket.
