Sarah-Jane Williams residing in Auckland, New Zealand visited a KFC restaurant for lunch and ordered popcorn chicken. She was shocked when she found large clump of fly eggs embedded inside the small chunks of bone-less meat.

A visibly-disgusted Sarah took to social media to post the picture of the popcorn chicken containing the eggs which were ready to hatch into maggots. She wrote, “This is what I just got from KFC pukekohe. I won’t be going back there in a while.”

Sarah also made a formal complaint on the KFC’s Facebook page where she received a reply, ”We’re really concerned to see this and we need to investigate this with you.” Similar incidents in different KFC outlets are on the rise even in India where a KFC chicken was found with live worms.
