KOCHI: The private bus operators, on Tuesday, said that buses would not enter the Kaloor bus stand from Wednesday. The general secretary of the Ernakulam District Private Bus Operators Association M B Sathyan said the roads at both the entrance and exit of the private bus stand in Kaloor are in a pathetic condition making it difficult for the buses to enter the stand.

"Nearly 1,200 buses enter and exit the bus station daily. We have lodged several complaints in this regard, but the authorities have not initiated any measure to repair the road.

"Hence, the private buses will not enter the bus station from Wednesday," Satyan added.
