Vetrimaaran, who’s currently busy with Vada Chennai trilogy, has acquired the rights of the Tamil novel Vaadivaasal, by CS Chellappa.

The book talks about the hurt pride of human being and animal (bull). In a recent media interaction, he had said, “Jallikattu isn’t animal cruelty.

If they are concerned about animals, they should ban crackers during Diwali and stop dumping toxic materials into the sea post Ganesh Chaturthi if they say this sport affects the environment.” He is expected to start work on this once he completes his existing commitments including the untitled GV Prakash film.
