Adi, the blue-eyed son of dialogue king Saikumar, will make his début appearance on the silver screen in 'Prema Kavali'.
The flick had its muhurat at Annapurna Studios and is being made under the Max India Productions banner.
The film will be directed by K Vijaybhaskar (of 'Manmathudu' and 'Mallishwari' fame) while producer is K Atchi Reddy. The cast includes Dev Gil, Catherine, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Shafi, Ali among others. Cinematography is by Chota K Naidu and the music is by Anup Rubens.
ANR lit the ceremonial lamp and rendered the puja while D Ramanaidu unveiled the production banner and Srihari unfurled the title of the film. Balakrishna switched on the camera, while Chiranjeevi clapped the muhurat shot. Nagarjuna did the formal first shot direction.
According to ANR, “One more youngster is coming to the industry as hero. PJ Sarma’s (Saikumar's father) family is very much known to one and all in the Telugu film industry. Everybody has special regards for their family. The title of the film is superb and romantic. I wish that Adi should surpass the talent of his father and would bring more fame to the family. I am not ashamed to admit that Saikumar's voice would always make me envious of him.”
