Police held a marathon interrogation for more than 10 hours with Venkatesh, the son-in-law of Union Minister Alagiri, in connection with their search for Durai Dayanidhi and P K Selvaraj, one of owners of the Sindhu Granites.

The enquiry was held here on Tuesday, on the eve of DMK district executive committee meeting to be conducted under the leadership of Union Minister and south zone organising secretary Alagiri on Wednesday.

Venkatesh, an architect, is the husband of Kayalvizhi, daughter of Alagiri. The couple are living in Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai.

Earlier, the teams interrogated one Rathinavelu, father of Alagiri’s daughter Anjuga selvi’s husband Dr Vivek.
