NEW DELHI: Making its foray into Gujarat, Tata Housing Development Company Limited on Wednesday announced the launch of its affordable integrated township project in Ahmedabad.

Launched under the brand Shubh Griha, the project will be jointly developed with Arvind Real Estate.

Both the companies have formed a special purpose vehicle--Arvind & Smart Value Homes LLP—that will execute the green township spread across 135 acres.

The project will have 1,091 low-rise apartments ranging from `7.92-12.33 lakh. Tata Housing is currently developing projects comprising of more than 44 million sq.ft under various stages of development.

To cater to low-cost and affordable housing in the price range of `5 lakh to `35 lakh, the company had formed a 100% subsidiary called Smart Value Homes in 2010.
