BANGALORE: Reliance Communications on Monday unveiled ‘Reliance CDMA Tab’, a fully loaded Android tablet. With this launch, RCom became the first CDMA operator in India to enter the Tablet space and offer Tablets on both the 3G and CDMA networks. Announcing the launch, Sanjay Behl, group head – brand & marketing, Reliance Communications, said “With the rapid increase in data consumption in India and with Reliance’s superior HSD Network in over 1,000 towns, the launch of the Reliance CDMA Tab is another step to carry forward our mission of Wirefree India.” The Reliance CDMA Tab is is priced at `12,999 with a 7-inch form factor for Internet, email on-the-go, social networking, video streaming, and gaming. For business users, the device provides a user-friendly email experience with push email capability and supports Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF formats.
