COIMBATORE: A new mobile phone "Vobizen", available only online, was launched nationwide from here today.
Based on Android v6.0 Marshmallow, Vobizen has a powerful 1.3 Quad core processor.
Ubaidulla, Chairman and Managing Director of city based Unikoid Electronics Ltd, the exclusive online sellers, said the first few customers will get 85 per cent discount on booking of phone, priced at Rs 3,499. Unikoid places orders for the phone from a company in China, he said.
He said the 3-G phones will available initially in 22 to 28 days of order on www.vobizenmobiles.com and the delivery time will be reduced in a phased manner.
A two year warranty would be offered, he said Ubaidulla said.
Vobizen was launched by Tamil actress Sneha at a function tonight.
