BENGALURU: A 34-year-old dentist was found dead at her house at Puttenahalli in JP Nagar on Sunday evening. The parents of the deceased alleged foul play and said that her husband was responsible for her death.

However, police said that it was a case of suicide and the reason is said to be a family dispute.
The deceased has been identified as Soumya, wife of Suneel Kumar. The couple has an eight-year-old son.

A police officer said the incident took place in the evening and Soumya’s parents who live in Koramangala came to the house and found her hanging. She was rushed to Rajshekar Hospital where she was declared brought dead and Puttenahalli police were alerted about the incident.

Soumya’s sister Lakshmi told TNIE, “I was at the office when I came to know about the incident and I immediately rushed to the hospital. The couple lives on the ground floor while my family and my relatives live on the first and second floor. I am really shocked that she has taken this extreme step”.
