CHENNAI: Zi Clinic, a skin clinic, recently celebrated its first anniversary and also launched a second clinic in Anna Nagar. “I was passionate about skin care right from school days, and so I took up dermatology. I’m so happy that I’m able to bring in new technology in this field and wish to do more,” said celebrity dermatologist Dr V Sethuraman, MD.

Kollywood actor Santhanam who unveiled the name board of the new Zi clinic, said, “I have seen Sethu as an actor and a doctor. Skin is really important for everybody and especially for celebrities. I did not know about all these problems earlier and the repercussions that could happen if it is not taken care of properly. I have to credit Sethu for my current transformation.”

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sethu said that he was happy to be serving as a doctor. “We concentrate on skin, hair and body shaping. Zi offers high quality treatment at affordable costs. We want to be able to give luxury treatment.” Though there are misconceptions that skin clinics’ most popular customers are women, Dr Sethu clarifies that skincare cannot be gender-specific.

Celebrities from the film fraternity such as Bobby Simha, Dharan, Venkat Prabhu, Nithin Satya, Aravind Akash and also from the medical field such as MA Muthiah, MD, Chettinad Hospitals; Dr K Ramachandran, senior cosmetic surgeon, Apollo; Dr Sadayavel Kailasam, orthopaedist, MD, Aswene Soundara Hospital; Ajit Shetty, celebrity fitness trainer and MD, Score Gym, and the  Brahmakumaris sisters were also present at the event.
