A strong drama set in the 1960s at St. Nicholas Church School, New York around the conflict between a school’s principal, a rigidly conservative nun suspecting a beloved and progressive parish priest of molesting an altar boy. ‘Doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty’, says the priest. Will it be? You will know only through “Doubt: A Parable”, a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama written by John Patrick Shanley is Manch Theatre’s latest production.
The cast of the play includes Snehal Hattikudur as Sister Aloysius Beauvier, Laukik Desai as Father Brendan Flynn, Sneha Dua as Sister James and Nimisha Gupta as Mrs. Muller. Production design by Antara Sarkar, music by Alok Kesarwani and directed by Riyaz Usman, the play will be staged on December 23 at the National Institute of Fashion Technology Auditorium, Madhapur,, from 7.30 pm onwards.
