HYDERABAD: A division bench of the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday issued notices to AP HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, directors of Prathyusha Resources Infra Private Limited, and an Indian Bank officer seeking their response on a PIL seeking action against the erring persons in a case pertaining to availing a bank loan of about Rs 141 crore by allegedly mortgaging government land at Vemulavalasa village in Visakhapatnam district.

The bench was dealing with the PIL filed by S Ajay Babu, who submitted that Prathyusha Resources Infra had availed about ` 141-crore loan from Indian Bank and Ganta Srinivasa Rao and others stood as guarantors for it. As the company had failed to repay the loan and there being no response from the guarantors, the bank issued a notification to auction the said land.
