KOCHI:  Amrita Technologies has launched a cutting-edge technology Hospital Information System (HIS) and a mobile version of ‘Amrita Personal Health Record’ named ‘APHR’ at a grand event at the Taj Malabar hotel marking its 15 years.Amrita HIS Cloud will be a cloud-based product vis-a-vis the traditional on-premise implementation-based one. 

“Amrita HIS Cloud is a robust product which can cater to the requirements of small hospitals and huge tertiary care facilities anywhere in the world. The product will be a game-changer in the industry with its rich features and affordable pricing with low initial investment requirement,” Pradeep Achan,CEO, Amrita Technologies, said. APHR Mobile is an app that manages the health record of an individual in a secure and easily accessible manner. The APHR App is made available on both Android Play-store and Apple’s App-store for users to download.

“This is a one-of-its-kind product available in India for the masses to use. With the advent of APHR, gone are the days of carrying bundles of old medical records by patients going for treatments. APHR can give vital information of patients not only during regular consultations but also become handy during emergency situations,” said Ramesh Raghavan, VP-Engineering, Amrita Technologies.

A telemedicine solution which allows any doctor and patient to meet for a virtual consultation through the use of mobile technology, Mobile version of Amrita’s Patient Portal, Amrita Swift – An app based EMR tool for doctors and nurses and Amrita Store – an e-commerce store were also launched on the occasion. 
 The function was inaugurated by Dr Shankara Chaitanya, Medical Director, Amrita School of Ayurveda, and had many dignitaries in presence.
