Speaking to TNIE on Monday, ADCL superintendent engineer M V Suryanarayana said that the corporation had taken up the Dharmachakra-related works under Amaravati-Vijayawada Gateway initiative at an estimated cost of Rs 7.5 crore. “Sculptors from Shilpakala Mandiram in Nandyal, Kurnool district are working to carve the chakra out of pink stone bought from Banishpad in Rajasthan.
