Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has shared the first look poster of 'Dhadak' on his Twitter handle.
The film marks the Bollywood acting debut of Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor as well as Shahid Kapoor's half-brother Ishaan Khattar.
By the looks of it, the film will be an intense romantic drama with the star kids playing a couple.
The film is reportedly a remake of Nagraj Manjule's superhit Marathi film 'Sairat'.
Jhanvi looks the spitting image of a Sridevi we love to remember in posters.
Shashank Khaitan, who helmed the films 'Humpy Sharma Ki Dulhaniya' (2014) and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya' (2017) has directed the film.
Produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta, 'Dhadak' will release on 6th of July 2018.
Jhanvi Kapoor, 20, is the daughter of superstar actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor.
Ishaan Khattar, 22, is the son of actors Neelima Azeem and Rajesh Khattar.
Ishaan has already made his acting debut with Iranian director Majid Majidi's first India based film, 'Beyond The Clouds' opposite Malavika Mohanan.
