Big Splash for Uppi 2

A Sharadhaa

Like all his directorial ventures, Upendra’s Uppi 2 is also garnering a lot of attention and this time the Uppi mania has reached Andhra Pradesh and Telangana where the star’s popularity is quite high. Producer Nallamalupu Bujji, who financed Allu Arjun’s Gurram Race, has taken over the distribution rights of the film and will be releasing it in the two States.

As of now, the dubbing process for the Telugu version is going on and if all goes as planned, the film might release on the same day in the two States. While in Karnataka, the film is planned to hit over 250 theatres, it will play in 200 theatres in the Telugu market. This is the first time that Upendra has used a unique promotional strategy by not divulging much about the film and leaving it to his fans to speculate in their own way.
