Taking things slow, yet steady, Arun Vijay, who delivered a big hit last year with 'Malai Malai' under the banner Feather Touch Entertainment, is now gearing up for the release of 'Maanja Velu' under the same banner in February. “The shooting of the climax fight is going on and I shaved my head to elevate the character Velu,” says Arun, who is seen with his head tonsured.
Shooting for the fight sequences continuously for 10 days, the actor says its a scene that is one-ofits kind and something that nobody has attempted to date. “The upside down sequence was both physically demanding and time consuming,” adds the actor, who believes that the film will be a milestone in his career. A Venkatesh directs the film and Dhansika, the heroine of the movie, is said to be appearing in a bikini in a song. After the release, Arun will star in a movie titled 'Kaaval Thurai'.
