Pandiarajan’s son badly injured

Prithvi, the actor-director’s son, got into a serious fire accident during the shooting of his debut film in Tamil.

CHENNAI: South Indian actor-director Pandiarajan’s son Prithvi was seriously injured in an accident while filming a song sequence for his debut film, ‘Pathinettan Kudi’.

The actor was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Madurai. Doctors treating him have said that his injuries are serious.

Prithvi suffered serious burns in the fire accident on the sets.

Crew members say that the fire accident happened due to excess petrol that was used to create the ring of fire that Prithvi had to enter. The fire caught on and rapidly and went out of control. Nobody else however was injured in the accident.

Padiarajan and the rest of the family have rushed to Madurai.
