Express News Service

Following the latest trend in Kollywood, yet another filmmaker has created a hype for his film by releasing a single from the album! This time, it is the single 'Love Pannalama Venama' from 'Poda Podi', which was released on Suriyan FM on Friday.

Simbu, who plays the lead in the movie, has penned and crooned the song. A peppy number along the lines of STR’s earlier songs, like 'Evandi Unna Pethan' from 'Vaanam', this song is about a youngster’s confusion as to whether he should fall in love or not.

Both Simbu and  his on-screen love in the movie, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, were present to launch the track. The music rights have been bagged by Sony Music and the songs are expected be launched soon.

The film is said to be based on dance and Simbu’s fans can look forward to an electrifying performance from their star. Shobana, Ganesh of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya fame and dancer Jeffrey Vardon play important roles in the film. Debutant Vignesh Sivan has directed the film, which has been shot extensively in London.
