Theatrical rights for the Vishal-Shruti Haasan film has been bought by Vendhar Movies. The actor’s official Twitter handle announced the same o Monday. “TN theatrical rights of poojai sold to Vendhar Movies. Coming together once again for a grand Diwali release,” it read.

The film, which is set for a Deepavali release, brings together actor Vishal and director Hari for the second time after the 2007 film Thaamirabharani. It is produced by Vishal Film Factory.

The film also happens to be the second project for Vishal and Vendhar Movies together after Pandianadu.

The film stars Sathyaraj, Mukesh Tiwari, Radhika, Jayaprakash, Soori, Kausalya among others.

The music is scored by Yuvanshankar Raja and cinematoraphy is by Priyan.
