Stepping into the shoes of Salman Khan may have been an offer that no actor can refuse. But, for Jiiva who has recently been declared brand ambassador for Dixcy Scott, the big endorsement assignment has also come with a lot of work.

Talking to CE at an event held in the city recently, he says, “It is a national brand and Salman Khan is already the face of it. In such a situation, It’s like how it is with films. You will be more than glad to take it up because it is already a hit.”

However, Jiiva didn’t want to take the route the Bollywood star took for the project.

“Salman Sir has a different image and his campaign for the brand has been about arm wrestling. But, I wanted to approach it differently. Going for a younger feel, I have a rock band and a jamming session. I really liked the concept and was only particular about the technicians,” he adds.

But is Jiiva ready to go topless like Salman anytime soon? “If I had the right kind of body then why not? I am a big foodie and have to hit the gym now and then to keep myself in shape. If it is the right kind of project and it appeals to me, I don’t have any qualms about it. After all, I am an actor and I should be open to doing what the role demands of me,” he says with a grin.
