South Indian actress Kasthuri’s semi-nude photos holding her baby have begun doing rounds on social media.
The photos were taken by a renowned photographer Jade Beall in his photo-book "A Beautiful Body Project: The Bodies of Mothers".
Over 80 mothers around the world volunteered for Jade Beall’s project which is dedicated to mothers during and after pregnancy.
The description in the book reads, "A Beautiful Body Project is a series of book volumes and an online media platform dedicated to women and body image, celebrated through the sharing stories about motherhood, aging, cancer, stillbirths, miscarriages, weigh-gain, weight-loss, dysmorphia, and beyond."
Kasthuri acted in number films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam projects. She is renowned for her roles in Malayalam flick ‘Aniyan’, Kannada movie ‘Jaana’ and most recently in ‘Vadacurry’.
She is married to Ravikumar, a doctor based in US and has two children – Shobini and Sankalp.
