Rumours are abuzz that Ajith and filmmaker Siva might team up again, and it’s likely to be for a period film.
A source close to the director says, “Both Ajith and Siva share a great rapport with each other, and are comfortable doing films together. More than anything else, Ajith believes in positive energy, which Siva has in abundance.”
The source goes on to say that though offers are pouring in for Siva from other actors, he’s always been available to do films for Ajith.
“It’s too early to reveal more. But if this film happens, Siva is likely to choose a genre that he hasn’t done before.” It must also be noted that Ajith hasn’t signed any film after Vivegam, which has drawn in huge crowds, despite a lack of critical acclaim.
We hear Sathya Jyothi Films, which produced Vivegam, may produce this fourth collaboration between the actor and filmmaker. Earlier Ajith-Siva collaborations such as Veeram and Vedalam have also struck gold at the box office.
