Dinesh of Attakathi fame is playing an aspiring politician in his upcoming film, Annanukku Jai directed by Rajkumar. According to sources, this is a political satire.
We hear the story deals with the subject of palm-tree plantations and is set in Tiruvannamalai. While Mayilsamy plays the actor’s father, the film also has Radha Ravi and RJ Ramesh in important roles.
Mahima Nambiar plays a musician in the film, and is paired opposite Dinesh. The film’s shoot was stalled for more than two years due to some reasons, and Dinesh has resumed the shooting now. Annanukku Jai is produced by Vetrimaaran.
