Its Hindi verison is getting ready for a Diwali release as "Son of Sardar" and most probably S.S. Rajamouli's Telugu blockbuster "Maryada Ramanna" will also have a Tamil remake.

"The film's rights have been bought by Prasad. V. Potluri and director R. Kannan is likely to direct the project in Tamil, but nothing is official as of now," a source said.

"Maryada Ramanna" starring Sunil and Saloni Aswani, a remake of Buster Keaton's 1923 English film "Our Hospitality", has already been remade in Kannada and Bengali.

Meanwhile, R. Kannan is busy shooting for the Tamil version of "Delhi Belly" titled "Settai" with Arya, Santhanam and Premgi Amaren.
