'I Will Direct a Film One Day'

Actor Raj Tarun speaks about learning from his mistakes, his directorial ambitions and upcoming projects.

After starting his career with a hattrick of hits, actor Raj Tarun had a more humbling experience with his recently released film Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu (SARS).

As he awaits the release of his upcoming entertainer Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, the actor says he has learnt from his mistakes and wants to try something different with each film to grow as an actor.

"Nobody makes mistakes on purpose. My first three films were successful but my recent film, SARS did not as well but I cannot blame anybody.

When the script was narrated to me, I was excited and I thought it would be a huge success, but that wasn't the case," Tarun expressed.

The actor hopes success returns to him with ERAR, in which he shares screen-space with Vishnu Manchu.

"I play a character called Ashwin. In the film, Vishnu and I have the habit of lying. But these lies have severe consequences and lands us into trouble. How we deal with it and escape these consequences is highlighted in this movie. It's going to be an absolute laugh riot," he shared.

The actor, who also writes scripts from time to time, says he would love to direct a movie in the future.

"In between movies, whenever I get any spare time, I spend it writing scripts. Currently a script of mine is almost ready. I don't have time to direct a movie right now, but will definitely do so in the future,"  Tarun added.

Going forward, the actor has his plate full with Directed by G Nageshwar Reddy, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam also features Rajendra Prasad in an important role, and is slated to hit screens on April 14.
