Veteran actress Jaya Prada, who has been away from Telugu cinema since 2007, is making a comeback with Suvarna Sundari.

Veteran actress Jaya Prada, who has been away from Telugu cinema since 2007, is making a comeback with Suvarna Sundari. She will be seen as actress Poorna’s daughter in the historical drama directed by debutant Surya.

“Jaya Prada’s role is one that connects the past and the future. The story is also about the emotional chord that binds a mother with her daughter,” says the director.“She has also pulled off some action sequences without a body double.”

Replete with special effects, the film, produced by MS Lakshmi, is slated for release in mid-November.

Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sai Kumar, Sakshi Chowdary and Nagineedu play pivotal roles in the Sai Kartheek musical that has the tagline—Charitra Bhavishyathuni Ventaduthundi.
