Railways introduces glass ceiling luxury coaches for Visakhapatnam-Araku Valley route

The specially designed coach with a single large-sized look out observation window was flagged off by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday via videoconferencing at Visakhapatnam railway station. (Photo | EPS)The coach boasts of automatic sliding doors, rotable chairs, seats with reclining system and a multi-luggage rack at the end of the coach. It also has installed LED lights for better illumination, laptop and mobile charging points, GPS-based passenger information system and infotainment installation with digital display screens. (Photo | EPS)The Vistadome coach would be detached at Araku and attached to the Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger from there onwards, according to sources.
